This plaquette has a large circle in the centre with a star and six hexagonal shapes around it. Beads elaborate the rounded shape and three stars accompany it. The top of the piece shows a raster-like decoration. Outline of this plaquette is shaped with rounded facets.
Technique: pressed glass, or verre moulé. However, the pieces are not cut afterward so traces of the mould are still visible. This highlights the elaborate process of making these pieces from hot glass paste to fine product.
Several pieces available, each slightly different in thickness (around 10 mm).
